 Julius Baroš, DiS.

He has worked with the Prague Big Band, the National Theater Big Band, the Big TV Band or the Neratovice Big Band. He was also a member of the Film Symphony Orchestra. I was born in Čadec and grew up in Milikov, Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. My father is Polish and mother of Slovak origin, so I say that I am "pure Czech". At the age of 7, I started playing the recorder, after two years I switched to clarinet and a year later I picked up another musical instrument, a piano. At the age of 14 I started to learn saxophone myself. Since music has meant a lot to me since I was a kid, I went to Prague to study at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory, which I graduated in 2003. After this conservatory I stayed in Prague. While studying at the conservatory, I got to know not only small school bands, but also big bands, which impressed me so much that I started playing outside of school in bands like Miki's belly button and David Murphy Band. Now I play with small and big bands: BoDi Band (baritone saxophone), Felix Slováček Big Band (baritone saxophone, clarinet), T.O.P. Dream Company (Baritone Saxophone), Pragason (Baritone Saxophone, Transverse Flute), FSO - Franta Schejbal Orchestra (Baritone Saxophone) Blaise´s Big Band led by Kryštof Marek (baritone saxophone, clarinet), Czech Big Company (baritone saxophone, clarinet), Funny Orchestra (tenor saxophone, flute), Timbre Music (tenor saxophone, clarinet), and others. I also guest in other Czech bands, bands and theaters as needed, whether during a live performance or in a recording studio.

Ondřej Štveráček, DiS.

He is a regular player of the Gustav Brom Orchestra, regularly collaborating with Radovan Tariška, Ryan Carniaux and other prominent players in the Central European region and beyond, such as Jerry Bergonzi, George Mraz, Joe Cohn, Dennis Rowland, Philip Harper, Uwe Plath, Ryan Carniaux, Erik Doelman, Udo Van Boven, Igor Buttman, Mel Canady, Peter Beets, Stepan Markovic, Jonathan Crossley, Erik Rottenstein, Lubos Sramek, Klaudius Kovac, David Doruzka, Milan Nikolic, Juraj Bartos, Oskar Rozsa . In addition to the activities of the Sideman, however, he is diligently developing his own saxophone system, which is inspired by the jazz tradition. Coltran concept Sheets of Sound is leaking through Four-Phrase phrasing and its tonal timbre is undoubtedly inspired by the same source. Ondřej Štveráček has a jazz legend in common and perfectly mastered jazz craft. After all, who could blame anyone for learning from one of the most prominent figures in jazz history? In recent years, however, in his play Štveráček's inevitably ripping to the surface of his own musical personality, which benefits both himself and his listeners. With his own band he reflects all important jazz destinations in Central Europe. Štveráček's current view of jazz is helped by the true jazz masters of the next generation.
